Note:

• Other oils can be substituted for paraffin oil but stability would have to be checked.

Application:

• This mentholated ointment helps combat irritating aches and pains in the joints.

Ingredients:

• 2/3 cups of avocado butter
• 1 tablespoons of menthol crystals
• 1 cup of sesame seed oil
• 10 drops of eucalyptus essential oil
• 3 drops of lemon essential oil

Instructions:

• Combine the sesame seed oil and menthol crystals over a double boiler and heat the mixture until the crystals melt.
• Once melted, remove from the heat and mix in avocado butter and essential oils.
• Stir and pour into jars.

Application:

• This ointment is designed to act both as a repellent and a soothing aid, perfect for the summer months, when dogs face an often painful onslaught by flies and mosquitoes.

Ingredients:

• 5.5 tsp citronella oil
• 1 drop liquid soap
• 4 tsp camphor
• 4 tbsp mineral oil
• 0.75 cup ethanol

Instructions:

• Mix well

Caution:

• Do not apply on any bites that have turned into open wounds.

Application:

• To be used on the face at night after removing makeup in order to nourish and revitalize the skin.

Ingredients:

• 5gr Emulsifying wax - Vegetable
• 10 g Beeswax
• 15 ml Organic Sweet Almond Oil
• 15 ml Wheatgerm Oil
• 30 ml Organic Lavender Floral Water or distilled water
• 2 drops each of Geranium and Clary Sage Essential Oil

Instructions:

• Gently heat Organic Lavender Floral Water or distilled water in a non-aluminium saucepan. Monitor the temperature and do not allow to boil.
• In a separate saucepan use the double boiler method to melt the Self-Emulsifying wax.
• Once the Self-Emulsifying wax is melted add the Almond, Avocado and Wheatgerm Oils, stirring continuously until combined and bring to 70°C.
• Monitor the temperature of the oil and water mixtures until both are at 70°C.
• While still in the double boiler, add the Lavender Water or distilled water to the oil mixture drop by drop and beat steadily.
• Remove mixture from heat and stir until cool.
• Add the Essential Oils to the cooled mixture at 45°C and stir until combined.
• Place cream into sterilized jars and seal. Store away from extremes in temperature and light.

Caution:

• Use lavender oil cautiously during pregnancy.
• Lotion has a stronger effect when prepared with lemon, this mixture not suitable for sensitive skin.

Application:

• This blend is suitable for all skin types

Ingredients:

• 10 g Emulsifying wax - Vegetable
• 70ml Organic floral water or distilled water
• 20 ml jojoba oil
• 6 drops neroli essential oil
• 10 ml wheatgerm oil
• 10 drops lavender essential oil

Instructions:

• Gently heat Lavender Floral Water in a non-aluminium saucepan. Monitor the temperature and do not allow to boil. Bring to 70°C.
• In a separate saucepan use the double boiler method to melt the Emulsifying wax.
• Once the Emulsifying wax is melted, add the jojoba oil, stirring continuously until combined. Bring to 70°C.
• Monitor the temperature of the oil and water mixtures until both are equal.
• While still in the double boiler, add the Lavender Water or distilled water to the oil mixture drop by drop and beat steadily.
• Remove mixture from heat and stir until cool, approx. 40°C.
• Add the Essential Oils and Wheatgerm oil to the cooled mixture at 40°C and stir until combined.
• Place cream into sterilized jars and seal. Store away from extremes in temperature and light.

Caution:

• Use lavender oil cautiously during pregnancy.
• Lotion should not be applied to broken skin
