Application:

  • Green Tea Soothing Moisturiser for Dry and Damaged Skin

Instructions:

  1. Measure ingredients in phase I and heat to 80°C with stirring to hydrate the thickener.
     
  2. In a separate container measure out and heat phase II to 80°C
     
  3. Remove both phases from heat and add phase II into phase I with mixing an continue mixing until cooled to 45-50°C.
     
  4. At 45-50°C add phase III with stirring then let settle and pack into suitable containers

Soothing Moisturiser for Dry and Damaged Skin Recipe

 

Application:

  • This light-weight cream is perfect for day-repair of dry, rough skin. The Snail Secretion extract is soothing and has a regenerative effect on the complexion.

Instructions:

  1. Measure all ingredients in phase I into a heat-proof container and heat until the emulsifying wax has melted (approx 75C°). Take care not to let the mixture boil.
  2. Remove the mixture from the heat and stir vigorously with a bar mix or equivalent taking care not to aerate the mix.
  3. When the mixture has cooled to 45°C or less add ingredients in phase II with gentle mixing.
  4. Pack into suitable container. This doesn't have to be airless.

Storage:

  • For immediate use. Store in a cool environment away from direct sunlight & use within a few weeks. If extended storage is required, please ensure adequate levels of preservatives, antioxidants or other additives are used according to your individual requirements.

Anti-Ageing Night Cream Recipe

 

Application:

  • A moisturising night cream loaded with antioxidants.

Ingredients:

  • 100ml Night Cream, unscented
  • 1g Green Tea Extract
  • 7 drops East Indian Sandalwood Essential Oil
  • 7 drops French Lavender Essential Oil
  • 1g Vitamin E Natural

Equipment:

  • 500mL Measuring Jug or Beaker
  • Spatula
  • 1ml pipette or measured dropper
  • 1 x 120ml Frosted Boston round glass jar
  • 1 x 58mm Metal Ring Groove Cap - Matt Silver

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients together in the measuring jug/beaker.
  • Carefully pour into jar.

Directions For Use:

  • Apply every night after cleansing and toning

Storage:

  • This treatment blend is great for dehydrated skin. Apply directly or under a moisturiser.

Ingredients:

  • 30ml apricot kernel oil
  • 20ml jojoba oil
  • 5 drops sandalwood essential oil
  • 3 drops lavender essential oil
  • 2 drops ylang ylang essential oil

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl, mixing thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container in the fridge

Caution:

  • Do not use lavender oil during pregnancy.

Application:

  • A refreshing moisturiser for all skin types.

Ingredients:

  • 2g xanthan gum powder
  • 100ml rosewater
  • 1 tsp glycerine
  • 11 drops lemon essential oil
  • 4 drops ylang ylang essential oil

Instructions:

  • Heat the water to 35°C
  • Add the gum, whisking the mixture to avoid lumps
  • Strain the mixture to ensure smoothness
  • Add the remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container

Caution:

  • Do not use lemon oil before exposure to the sun.

Rose and Avocado Facial Treatment Recipe

 

Application:

  • This treatment blend is great for dry skin. Apply directly or under a moisturiser.

Ingredients:

  • 15ml avocado oil
  • 10ml wheatgerm oil
  • 15ml evening primrose oil
  • 3 drops carrot seed essential oil
  • 3 drops rose absolute essential oil
  • 3 drops palmarosa essential oil
  • 4 drops rosewood essential oil

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl, mixing thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container in the fridge

Caution:

  • Do not use rose absolute essential oil during pregnancy.

Application:

  • This oil-blocking moisturiser is perfect for oily skins.

Ingredients:

  • 2g xanthan gum powder
  • 100ml purified or floral water
  • 1 tsp glycerine
  • 5 drops lemon essential oil
  • 2 drops geranium essential oil
  • 2 drops juniper essential oil

Instructions:

  • Heat the water to 35°C
  • Add the gum, whisking the mixture to avoid lumps
  • Strain the mixture to ensure smoothness
  • Add the remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container

Caution:

  • Avoid geranium oil during pregnancy.
  • Do not use lemon oil before exposure to the sun.
  • Juniper oil should not be used during pregnancy.
