Product Description
Ingredients: Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin
Plantaserv E is a cosmetic preservative offering you broad based protection against bacteria, yeasts and mould fungi. It is a unique formulation with multi functional actions, offering the consumer many beneficial uses in their cosmetic manufacturing procedures.
Features: It is made up of a combination of phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin.

Solubility: It is soluble in water and alcohol bases.
100g of water at 20° C dissolves 1g of Plantaserv E
Storage: Store in original container at room temperature
Usage: Use up to 1%
The recommended percentages are individual to the sensitivity of the product to microbial contamination, the choice of raw materials used and product hygiene.

Applications: A preservative for cosmetic manufacturing.
Note: The only way to be sure that your preservative system is working in your product is to carry out micro testing. While we are happy to pass on information and make theoretical recommendations of how to get the best out of our ingredients we can make no guarantees without this testing. There are two levels of test that a microbiological lab will do - one is a micro count which gives you a 'moment in time' look at the cleanliness of your formula and may also characterise the microbes present. The second is a Preservative Efficacy Test or PET. This is highly recommended as it tests how your product performs over time when it is challenged by microbes. You are legally required to market and sell products that are safe and microbial stability is an important part of that.
Please note: This product may come with less than a 9 month shelf life. If used within the specified shelf life, it will not affect the preservative efficacy in a product.
