Bathroom Surface Cleansing Spray Recipe

 

Application:

  • A powerful, alcohol based surface-cleansing spray for the bathroom which utilises some of the most potent antimicrobial essential oils to help keep your bathroom smelling clean & hygienic. Can be sprayed directly into the toilet bowl or lightly onto a damp cloth for cleaning handles, tiles and other non-painted or non-plastic surfaces.

Ingredients:

  • 100ml Ethanol 95PGF4
  • 20 drops Red Thyme Essential oil
  • 20 dropsHiba Essential oil
  • 20 drops Hinoki Essential oil
  • 20 drops Lemon Essential oil
  • 20 drops Tea Tree - Lemon-Scented Essential Oil

Equipment:

  • 100mL Measuring Jug or Beaker
  • 100mL Aluminium Bottle
  • 24mm Spray Atomiser Matt Silver
  • Blank Plastic Label
  • Permanent Marker

Instructions:

  • Trim off the excess tubing from the bottom of the spray atomiser. (HINT: Line up the spray atomiser against the outside of the Aluminium Bottle and trim off the part that extends past the bottom of the bottle.)
  • Measure 100mL of Ethanol 95PGF4 & carefully pour into Aluminium Bottle.
  • Carefully add 20 drops of each of the Essential Oils directly into the Ethanol.
  • Firmly screw on the Spray Atomiser. Then shake well to mix.
  • Using the Permanent Marker, write a label for your spray & fix the label to your bottle. Be aware that moisture may degrade your label if you use a paper label.
  • Store well out of reach of children, away from excessive heat or flame.

Directions For Use:

  • Avoid contact with skin, eyes, etc. Not for use as room or air spray.
  • Can be sprayed undiluted directly into toilet bowl suitable for use on most glazed ceramic surfaces.
  • For cleaning non-painted & non-plastic surfaces: Spray once onto a damp cleaning cloth or sponge.

  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or suffering from a health disorder, please consult your aromatherapist or healthcare professional before using essential oils which may come into contact with the body.
  • Not suitable for topical use. keep away from skin, eyes, mouth, etc.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Flammable: Keep away from excessive heat or flame.
  • Not suitable for use on painted or plastic surfaces.
