Cooling Foot Massage Oil Recipe

 

 

Application:

  • A cooling foot oil to prepare our precious feet for the long summer's days.
     
  • Vita Rich Massage Oil: A rich and indulgent massage oil base carefully blended to exhibit exceptional glide and slip. High in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids to nurture, moisturise and regenerate the skin. Good absorption rate that allows for easy grab and deep tissue techniques.
     
  • Spearmint Essential Oil: Spearmint essential oil is calming, relaxing and uplifting, rather than stimulating. As such, it is a useful oil in relieving mental fatigue and depression.
     
  • Lime Essential Oil: Lime essential oil has a crisp, refreshing citrus scent that has been used by aromatherapists for its uplifting and revitalizing properties. It can also act as an astringent when applied to the skin where it is reputed to help clear oily skin.
     
  • Basil essential oil: Basil essential oil is a good tonic for relieving nervous disorders and stress related headaches. It is used to clear the mind and relieve intellectual fatigue, while giving clarity and mental strength.
     

Equipment:

  • 200mL Measuring Jug or Beaker
  • Spatula or mall whisk
  • 1ml pipette or measured dropper
  • 1 x 100 ml Cobalt Blue 100ml PET Boston Round Bottle
  • 1 x 24 mm Black lotion pump
Ingredients Volume
Vita rich massage oil 99ml
Spearmint essential oil 8 drops
Lime essential oil 8 drops
Basil essential oil 8 drops

 

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients together in the measuring jug/beaker and stir well.
  • Carefully pour into the bottle.

Directions For Use:

  • Pump a small amount of massage oil into palm of hand.
  • Massage feet with gentle strokes.

Storage:

  • For immediate use. Store in a cool environment away from direct sunlight & use within a few weeks. If extended storage is required, please ensure adequate levels of preservatives, antioxidants or other additives are used according to your individual requirements.

Aphrodisiac Massage Oil Recipe

 

Application:

  • An exquisite and sensual massage oil capturing the finest of the aphrodisiac essential oils. Made with water dispersible sweet almond and jojoba oils to leave your skin silky soft (and washes easily out of your linen!).

Equipment:

  • Glass bottle preferably amber or cobalt blue coloured 100ml capacity
  • Lid
  • Glass beaker or jug minimum 150ml capacity
  • Small beaker 25ml/50ml capacity or empty essential oil bottle
  • Spatula
  • Measuring spoons and/or laboratory glass pipette
  • Glass funnel
Phase Ingredients Percentage Volume
A Jasmine Sumbac 3% Dilution Essential oil 1% 20 drops
  Ylang Ylang 1st Essential oil 0.65% 13 drops
  Vanilla Co2 3% Dilution Essential oil 0.15% 3 drops
  Sandalwood East Indian Essential oil 0.15% 3 drops
  Cardamon Essential oil 0.05% 1 drop
       
B Sweet Almond Oil water dispersible 50% 50ml
  Jojoba Oil Australian water dispersible 47% 47ml
       
C Vitamin E Natural 1% 1ml
       
Total     100ml

 

Instructions:

  • Add Phase A to small beaker or empty essential oil bottle in the following order: Sandalwood; Vanilla Co2 3% dilution; Ylang Ylang; Jasmine 3% dilution; Cardamon. NB. For a superior aroma allow essential oil blend to sit for 24hours (covered) to allow fragrance to mature.
  • Add phase B to 150ml beaker and stir with spatula.
  • Add phase A to Phase B stir with spatula.
  • Lastly, add Phase C and stir.
  • Decant into bottle using funnel and seal with lid.

Orange and Lavender Massage Balm Recipe

 

Application:

  • For a relaxing massage.

Ingredients:

  • 15g cocoa butter
  • 85ml apricot kernel oil
  • 25 drops sweet orange essential oil
  • 17 drops lavender essential oil
  • 8 drops marjoram essential oil

Instructions:

  • Melt the butter with the apricot kernel oil
  • Let it cool then add the essential oils, mixing thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container out of sunlight

Caution:

  • Do not use lavender oil during pregnancy.
  • Do not use marjoram oil during pregnancy.

Lemon and Peppermint Massage Balm Recipe

 

Application:

  • Great detox blend.

Ingredients:

  • 15g cocoa butter
  • 85ml apricot kernel oil
  • 25 drops lemon essential oil
  • 5 drops carrot seed essential oil
  • 15 drops juniper essential oil
  • 10 drops peppermint essential oil

Instructions:

  • Melt the butter with the apricot kernel oil
  • Let it cool then add the essential oils, mixing thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container out of sunlight

Caution:

  • Peppermint oil should not be used during pregnancy. May cause skin irritation.
  • Do not use lemon oil before exposure to the sun.
  • Juniper oil should not be used during pregnancy.

Ginger and Rosemary Massage Balm Recipe

 

Application:

  • Relieves sore muscles.

Ingredients:

  • 15g cocoa butter
  • 85ml apricot kernel oil
  • 25 drops lavender essential oil
  • 20 drops rosemary essential oil
  • 15 drops ginger essential oil

Instructions:

  • Melt the butter with the apricot kernel oil.
  • Let it cool then add the essential oils, mixing thoroughly.
  • Store in a clean container out of sunlight.

Caution:

  • Ginger is not suitable for sensitive skins.
  • Do not use lavender oil during pregnancy.
  • Rosemary oil should not be used during pregnancy. Avoid if you have a history of epilepsy.

Application:

  • 85ml apricot kernel oil
  • 30 drops bergamot essential oil
  • 18 drops geranium essential oil
  • 12 drops clary sage essential oil

Instructions:

  • Melt the butter with the apricot kernel oil.
  • Let it cool then add the essential oils, mixing thoroughly.
  • Store in a clean container out of sunlight.

Caution:

  • Do not use bergamot before exposure to the sun.
  • Avoid geranium oil during pregnancy.
  • Clary sage oil should not be used during pregnancy.

Spring Cleanse Massage Blend Recipe

 

Application:

  • To be massaged into the skin to promote elimination and stimulate detoxification.

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml Grapeseed Vegetable Oil
  • 20 ml Organic Safflower Vegetable Oil
  • 20 ml Organic Sunflower Vegetable Oil
  • 10 ml Hazelnut Vegetable Oil
  • 5 drops Organic Clove Bud Essential Oil
  • 3 drops Organic Grapefruit Pink Essential Oil
  • 5 drops Organic Ginger Essential Oil
  • 4 drops Organic Tamala Essential Oil
  • 5 drops Organic Juniperberry Essential Oil

Instructions:

  • Measure and pour the Grapeseed, Safflower, Sunflower and Hazelnut Vegetable Oils into a clean bottle with lotion pump attachment.
  • Drop the relevant amount of essential oils into the bottle.
  • Put on the lotion pump attachment and ensure the lid is closed.
  • Shake the bottled mixture well to combine the oils effectively.
  • Store the oil in a cool and dark place when not in use.

Caution:

  • Not to be used near the eyes or mucous membranes.
  • May irritate the skin in sensitive individuals.
  • Not recommended for use during pregnancy.
