Cooling Foot Massage Oil Recipe

 

 

Application:

  • A cooling foot oil to prepare our precious feet for the long summer's days.
     
  • Vita Rich Massage Oil: A rich and indulgent massage oil base carefully blended to exhibit exceptional glide and slip. High in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids to nurture, moisturise and regenerate the skin. Good absorption rate that allows for easy grab and deep tissue techniques.
     
  • Spearmint Essential Oil: Spearmint essential oil is calming, relaxing and uplifting, rather than stimulating. As such, it is a useful oil in relieving mental fatigue and depression.
     
  • Lime Essential Oil: Lime essential oil has a crisp, refreshing citrus scent that has been used by aromatherapists for its uplifting and revitalizing properties. It can also act as an astringent when applied to the skin where it is reputed to help clear oily skin.
     
  • Basil essential oil: Basil essential oil is a good tonic for relieving nervous disorders and stress related headaches. It is used to clear the mind and relieve intellectual fatigue, while giving clarity and mental strength.
     

Equipment:

  • 200mL Measuring Jug or Beaker
  • Spatula or mall whisk
  • 1ml pipette or measured dropper
  • 1 x 100 ml Cobalt Blue 100ml PET Boston Round Bottle
  • 1 x 24 mm Black lotion pump
Ingredients Volume
Vita rich massage oil 99ml
Spearmint essential oil 8 drops
Lime essential oil 8 drops
Basil essential oil 8 drops

 

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients together in the measuring jug/beaker and stir well.
  • Carefully pour into the bottle.

Directions For Use:

  • Pump a small amount of massage oil into palm of hand.
  • Massage feet with gentle strokes.

Storage:

  • For immediate use. Store in a cool environment away from direct sunlight & use within a few weeks. If extended storage is required, please ensure adequate levels of preservatives, antioxidants or other additives are used according to your individual requirements.

3. MIX UNTIL UNIFORM.

4. PREMIX PHASE C AND ADD TO THE BATCH.
5. MIX UNTIL UNIFORM.

Citrus and Pine Foot Scrub Recipe

 

Application:

  • Treat your feet with this softening and fragrant scrub. Soak your feet beforehand to soften the skin and apply the scrub.

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp coarsely ground sugar or salt
  • 1.5 tbsp purified or floral water
  • 1 tbsp kaolin
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sweet almond oil
  • 25 drops lemon essential oil
  • 10 drops pine essential oil
  • 10 drops citrus fragrant oil

Instructions:

  • Mix the sugar or salt thoroughly with the kaolin
  • Add the water, the sweet almond oil and honey
  • Mix into a smooth paste
  • Add the remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container

Caution:

  • Do not use lemon oil before exposure to the sun.

Peppermint Foot Gel Recipe

 

Application:

  • This gel will soothe your feet and legs. Apply anytime.

Ingredients:

  • 2g xanthan gum powder
  • 100ml purified or floral water
  • 10 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil

Instructions:

  • Heat the water to 35°C
  • Add the gum, whisking the mixture to avoid lumps
  • Strain the mixture to ensure smoothness
  • Add the remaining ingredients, mixing thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container

Caution:

  • Peppermint oil should not be used during pregnancy.
  • May cause skin irritation.
  • Do not use lavender oil during pregnancy.

Spearmint and Lavender Foot Bath Recipe

 

Application:

  • Soak your tired feet into this minty mixture. Apply 2 teaspoons per basin.

Ingredients:

  • 25 drops lavender essential oil
  • 10 drops juniper essential oil
  • 10 drops geranium essential oil
  • 15 drops spearmint essential oil
  • 100ml Turkey Red oil

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container

Caution:

  • Avoid geranium oil during pregnancy.

Application:

  • This mix is a great deodoriser . Apply 2 teaspoons per basin.

Ingredients:

  • 5 drops cypress essential oil
  • 10 drops lemongrass essential oil
  • 5 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 10 drops lavender essential oil
  • 100ml Turkey Red oil

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients thoroughly
  • Store in a clean container

Caution:

  • Avoid cypress oil during pregnancy.

Jogger's Foot Bath Recipe

 

Application:

  • A warm, relaxing soak in a fragrant bath can ease the cares of the day and soothe tense muscles.

Ingredients:

  • 7 drops Rosemary essential oil
  • 5 drops Peppermint essential oil
  • 8 drops Lavender essential oil
  • 100ml Turkey Red oil

Instructions:

  • Add drops of Essential Oils to the Turkey Red oil
  • Pour 20ml of oil into bath whilst filling or 10ml into foot bath
  • Make sure oil is evenly mixed

Caution:

  • Do not use rosemary essential oil when taking high blood pressure tablets

Herbal Footbath Recipe

 

Application:

  • To relax the feet, detoxify and induce drowsiness before retiring to sleep.

Ingredients:

  • 3 litres Hot Water
  • 1 cup Rock Crystal Salt
  • 1 cup Dead Sea Mineral Salt
  • 5 drops Juniperberry Himalayan Essential Oil
  • 5 drops Grapefruit White Essential Oil
  • 5 drops Orange Bitter Essential Oil

Instructions:

  • Heat water to a comfortable temperature and put into your foot bath.
  • Add salts and oils to the bath and stir.
  • Place feet into the foot bath and soak for approximately 20 minutes.

Caution:

  • Do not use boiling water as this will scald and burn the skin.
