Autumn Chai Essential Oil Blend Recipe

 

Application:

  • To be used in an oil diffuser.
     
  • Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil: Cinnamon has an earthy, woody and spicy aroma. This essential oil has great value in aromatherapy as it helps relieve fatigue and exhaustion. It has powerful anti-rheumatic properties, is useful in the digestive system, while fighting colds and flu as well. It is known for its antiseptic and antispasmodic properties.
     
  • Clove Bud Essential Oil: This essential oil has a sweet, spicy fragrance that is stimulating and revitalizing, One of the most potent antiseptic, Europeans doctors once breathed through clove-filled leather beaks to ward off the plague. It is also a potent germ-fighter and anti-fungal for other conditions, such as flu, colds and bronchitis.
     
  • Nutmeg Essential Oil: Nutmeg is a valuable addition to many aromatherapy blends, adding warmth, spice and inspiration. Emotionally it is invigorating and stimulating, while, at the same time, warm and welcoming. Physically, it is said to be an excellent digestive stimulant for those who can not digest food, and useful oil in relieving nausea, vomiting, indigestion, etc.
     
  • Cardamom Essential Oil: Cardamom has decongestant properties that make it useful in colds and congestion. Cardamom is perhaps the best source of a phytochemical called cineole, which helps break up chest congestion and gives the entire central nervous system a boost. The oil is a mild stimulant, warming with a lovely aroma.
     
  • Sweet Orange Essential Oil: This essential oil of the Sweet Orange is delightfully bright and uplifting. It detoxifies the body and boosts the lymphatic system, as well as It takes care of the collagen formation in the skin. Sweet orange oil is known to possess antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and anti-septic properties.
     

Equipment:

  • 100ml Measuring Jug or Beaker
  • Small whisk
  • 1ml pipette or measured dropper
  • 1 x 6 ml amber Boston round tamper evident bottle with cap
Ingredients Volume
Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil 1ml
Clove Bud Essential Oil 1ml
Nutmeg Essential Oil 1ml
Cardamom Essential Oil 0.5ml
Sweet Orange Essential Oil 1.5ml

 

Instructions:

  • Mix all ingredients together in the measuring jug/beaker and stir well.
  • Carefully pour into the bottle.
  • Insert the dripolator plug then cap and label the bottles.

 

Directions For Use:

  • Add 7-10 drops of the oil blend to an oil burner or a diffuser.
  • If you are using an oil burner make sure not to leave it unattended.

Storage:

  • For immediate use. Store in a cool environment away from direct sunlight & use within a few weeks. If extended storage is required, please ensure adequate levels of preservatives, antioxidants or other additives are used according to your individual requirements.
