Features: Bilberry Certified Organic Liquid Extract is a glycerine-based botanical extract derived from the fruit, which is known to contain antioxidant polyphenols, including anthocyanins.
Bilberry is often referred to as the wild European counterpart to blueberry. Native to the forests of Northern Europe, Vaccinium myrtillus has a long history of traditional use and is valued for its rich phytonutrient profile.
In cosmetic formulations, Bilberry Extract is recognised for water-based skincare and haircare applications, including serums, daily moisturisers and scalp care formulations. Its gentle profile makes it a useful addition to formulations designed to support healthy-looking skin and overall cosmetic appeal.

Note: Glycerine-based extracts are sold by weight, not volume, due to their density. Glycerine extracts have a specific gravity greater than 1.00, this means that they are more dense or heavier than water and 1g/1Kg will not equal 1ml/1Lt.
