Features: Sodium Lauroyl Methyl Isethionate is a flaked primary or secondary surfactant ideal for formulations that require dense, luxurious foam and an elegant after-feel. It provides gentle yet effective cleansing with excellent rinseability. Its high water solubility enables formulators to create crystal-clear liquid cleansing systems. The secondary ester structure offers greater hydrolytic stability than many common esters, and together with its broad pH stability range, makes formulation easier and more versatile.

Recommended Usage: 2% – 20% for liquid cleansers. 20% - 60% for solid cleansers (when used as primary surfactant)
Formulation Tips:
- Can be very sensitive to fragrance which may affect viscosity and clarity
- No issues with preservatives effective in the range pH 6.0 – 7.0, but careful formulating needed for pH 5.0 – 6.0
- Often used with amphoteric surfactants (e.g., Cocamidopropyl Betaine) to improve foam and mildness
Suggested Storage: Store in a cool place below 30°C, away from direct light, in air-tight container
