If you have always wanted to make your own retail standard cosmetics, then this inspirational workshop is perfect for you.
This is a course suitable for beginners right through to spa and salon owners. Whether you are interested in just making products for your own use or aspire to be the next cosmetic giant this course offers you a fun and hands-on dive into what is a fascinating and rewarding industry.
During this course you will learn how to put together a range of different skin care products using the New Directions bases as your starting points. First, we explore the importance of selecting a good base before moving on to your product actives.
The products we develop will feature our Australian native botanical ingredients as the formulation actives. Together we will learn what makes these ingredients so potent and beneficial for the skin and how they deliver their anti-ageing and environmental protection benefits.
By the end of the course participants will understand how cosmetic products and ranges are created and will have their own range of skincare to take home and experience.
This workshop is offered as a live and interactive study-at-home workshop that runs from 10:00am-4:00pm on Saturdays. Participants will have an ingredients kit and recipe booklet delivered to their location and will use this during class to create a range of beautiful skincare.
