Zeolite clay can be considered a microscopic honeycomb – a complex structure riddled with tiny pores. This natural material, a microporous aluminosilicate, is widely used in industry as an absorbent and catalyst. The exciting part is its structure also makes it a useful aid for healthy skin!
Due to its negatively charged "honeycomb" design, zeolite can act like a molecular sieve. Think of it as a magnet for positively charged toxins and impurities that can build up on the skin. Its large surface area allows zeolite clay to bind with these unwanted particles, helping to detoxifying your skin and also helping with maintaining a refreshed and renewed feeling.
