Lemon oil is a fresh, clean and uplifting oil to use in skincare. Steam distillation produces an oil low in furocumarins (UV sensitisers) meaning this is safe and appropriate for use in day-care/ wear products.

Take care to avoid product oxidation due to the high level of limonene and the presence of citral. When oxidised, these aromachemicals become more irritating.
