This is a rich, medium spreading oil with a deep, nutty aroma.
The brazil nut contains one of the highest levels of oil of any nut and gives yields of between 60-70% making it an environmentally efficient choice of carrier.
In terms of its proportion of unsaturated fatty acids Brazil Nut Oil is similar to Olive and Walnut oil.
The oils vitamin E content is high but it is characterised by the predominance of the Beta Tocopherol rather than the more biologically active Alpha Tocopherol. Around 80% of the Vitamin E in Brazil nut is the Beta Tocopherol.
Can be used directly onto the skin and has a medium shine profile.
