Extraction: Oil Infusion.
Useage: Chamomile has long been used in folk medicine for its anti-inflammatory action due to it containing the active Bisabolol. The main barrier to using Chamomile is that it is both very expensive and quite highly scented making it difficult to incorporate in any volume to a product. As this infused oil is diluted it is posssible to use it at a higher level or even straight onto the skin. This makes for a more convenient and cost-effective way to incorporate Chamomile into your formulation.
