Did you know? The level of Alpha-santalol in Australian Sandalwood oil can vary depending on the source of the wood and the parts of the tree used during distillation. Higher alpha-santalol levels are typically achieved when a greater proportion of wild-harvested wood and mature trees are used, as well as when a higher inclusion of butts and roots is used compared to smaller green logs.

In contrast, oils produced with a larger proportion of plantation-grown wood or younger log material may contain comparatively lower alpha-santalol levels. The balance between wild and plantation wood, and between roots and butts and logs, plays a significant role in determining the final chemical profile of the oil.

Suggested Storage: Store below 30°C in a sealed container, away from direct sunlight.
