But Prickly Pear Oil (also known as Opuntia or Barbary Fig Oil) doesn't stop there. It can also help moisturise dry hair and support cracked, dull fingernails.
Properties/Benefits: Prickly pear oil stands out for its exceptional quality, attributed to its remarkable fatty acid composition, tocopherols, and sterols. With an impressive unsaturated fatty acids composition exceeding 59%, it also contains approximately 1000mg/kg of tocopherols (vitamin E), and about 10g/kg sterols – a useful component in vegetable oils renowned for its outstanding performance in revitalisation and antiradical protection.
