Ingredients: Glycine
Glycine is an important amino acid that is particularly essential for the health of the skin as it makes up a large proportion of collagen (about 1/3rd) which is essential for skin firmness and flexibility. This high concentration of Glycine in the skin also aids in keeping the skin in good condition.

Odour: Characteristic
Solubility: Soluble in water
Usage: Up to 1% Typically.
Applications: Use as an active ingredient in cosmetic products.
Amino Acids are a great addition to any anti-ageing formulation. We recommend adding them at a concentration of between 0.2-1.5% after the batch has cooled. For best results maintain pH at between 4-5.5
Actions:
Rejuvination: The role of glycine in collagen production makes this a good addition to any product targeting skin repair and healing.
Moisturisation: All amino acids are good moisture binding agents and help to provide the skin with a resevoir of water over time.
