Ingredients: Copper Gluconate
Copper Gluconate has been found to be very useful in helping maintain healthy skin and hair colour since the presence of copper is related to the synthesis of collagen and elastin in the skin.
Appearance: Pale blue fine powder
Odour: Characteristic
Solubility: Soluble in water
Usage: Between 0.1-0.7% as supplied.
Applications: Use as an active ingredient that helps to mop up free radicals therefore reducing the potential for premature ageing of the skin. This water soluble mineral is easy to use and add into any cream or serum based product. This works well for brands wanting to market their products on a mineral theme. As with any metal salt this has the potential to de-stabilise a formula at high levels and may also react with preservatives to change your products base colour. However, when used correctly this should give all fo the benefits with none of the problems!
