Product Description
Ingredients: Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Purified Water
Do not use in products that will be used during pregnancy, in products for children or for people who have issues with blood clotting. Not to be used on broken skin.
Arnica is a powerful herb and one that comes under much scrutiny because of its chemistry. Care should be taken when using it as while a little can be helpful, a bit more can be harmful.
Traditional uses: Brusing, sprains, muscle aches (massage), inflammation.
Solubility: The active chemistry within arnica can be extracted by using an alcohol: water solvent. It is likely to be less potent when extracted into glycerin and less still when in water although this is more important for therapeutic use of the herb than cosmetic.
Use Level: The herb should never be added directly into a cosmetic due to its strength so we recommend creating an extract first.
