Features: White Mineral Oil is used in cosmetics as an excellent carrier for oil-soluble actives, pigments and fragrances, helping ensure even distribution throughout a formula. Formulators value this oil for its ability to improve texture, spreadability and overall stability in creams, lotions and other products. White Mineral Oil can also be incorporated into formulations designed for ageing, delicate, or barrier-damaged skin.
Properties/Benefits: Our white mineral oil is a very light oil in terms of skin feel and is ideal for ultra-dry skin with barrier issues. It is also a highly purified mineral oil of pharmaceutical grade. The oil can be applied directly to skin, but the best way to use it is in an emulsion (cream) base. Some people feel that mineral oil clogs or smothers the skin; like vegetable oils, it sits on and within the top layers of the epidermis and acts as a barrier-reinforcing agent.

Texture: Lightweight, silky oil with a smooth, non-greasy skin feel
Safety: Not recommended for use during pregnancy. Consult a medical or health practitioner before use and review the SDS. Perform a patch test before use and discontinue if any skin discomfort occurs.
