Ingredients: Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate
Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a popular cosmetic ingredient. It is used to enhance the antioxidant properties of your formulations and being a water soluble Vitamin C derivative, its stability is more reliable than Ascorbic acid and it is able to penetrate the deep layers of the skin more effectively.
The skin is the largest organ of the body and in order to maintain optimum function we must protect it from the inside as well as from the outside.
We encounter oxidative stressors on a daily basis through; UV exposure, chemical and pesticide ingestion from our food, air pollution and environmental and lifestyle pollutants.
Appearance: White to pale beige powder
Odour: Odourless
Viscosity: Powder
Solubility: Water soluble
You can prepare solutions using; up to 64% of Water, 13.2% of Glycerol and 1.6% of Propylene glycol with Sodium ascorbyl phosphate.
Storage: It should be stored in its original container and protected from light and moisture. It should also be stored at temperatures below 25°C.

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is sensitive to moisture, heat, low pH values and heavy metals.
At pH values between 5 and 9 and temperatures up to 40 °C, it‘s stable in cosmetic formulations
