Ferulic acid is a powerful antoxidant with the capacity to help protect the skin from UV damage in a more powerful way that other antioxidants. This ingredient is commonly found in a range of plant materials including bamboo shoots, rice, wheat, oats, pineapple and grasses. However, commercially it is most often made via a synthetic process rather than extracted directly from plants. Our Ferulic Acid is synthetically made but is palm and GMO free.
