This Pomegranate Liquid Extract is an entirely natural and pure active that excels as a moisturising, anti-ageing and skin restructuring agent in all skin care applications. By stimulating the skins' aquaporins (the channels through which water passes in and out of the skin) the natural flow of water in the skin can be restored. This is critical for hydrating the epidermis and rendering the skin supply, smooth and young looking. This action is also responsible for preventing skin ageing.
Entirely natural and preservative-free, Pomegranate Liquid Extract is an optimal moisturising and restructuring ingredient recommended in all cosmetic products.
Appearance: Pale yellow to light yellow viscous liquid
Odour: Characteristic
Solubility: Soluble in hot water. Insoluble in oil; also biodegradable.
Recommendations: Use between 2 - 4 % in formulations.
Applications: Use as an active ingredient in cosmetics products. Particularly suitable for all skincare applications looking to boost the skins hydration.
Water soluble. Add to water based products after cooling. Not soluble in oil but can be used in an emulsion.
Please note: Glycerine based extracts are sold in grams/kilograms and not millilitres/Litres. Glycerine extracts have a specific gravity greater than 1.00, this means that they are more dense or heavier than water and 1g/1Kg will not equal 1ml/1Lt.
