Background Information: The Mangosteen is a tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia. The fruit is a great source of Xanthones, a class of polyphenolic compounds which give it anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties. The Mangosteen is a popular health food and dietary supplement.
Use Levels: 1-20%
Solubility: Water Soluble.
Formulating Tips: Add to your product once it has cooled down to below 50% or use in a cold process formula.
Water soluble. Add to water based products after cooling. Not soluble in oil but can be used in an emulsion.
Please note: Glycerine based extracts are sold in grams/kilograms and not millilitres/Litres. Glycerine extracts have a specific gravity greater than 1.00, this means that they are more dense or heavier than water and 1g/1Kg will not equal 1ml/1Lt.
