INCI: Lecithin
Lecithins are a mixture of phospholipids that can be found in a number of plant sources such as soybean, sunflower and cottonseed oils. Due to its amphiphilic nature, Soya Lecithin can be used in a wide range of products, from creams, ointments, baby oils, lotions and lipsticks to shampoos and other cleansing products. In skin care, Soya Lecithin has advanced softening and moisturising action, leaving the skin soft and supple, especially useful in products targeting dry and dehydrated skin.
Appearance: Amber to brown viscous liquid to solid
Origin: Mechanically extracted from soybean, without the use of solvents
Recommended Usage: 0.5 – 3%
