Dipropylene Glycol, Quercus Suber Bark Extract
This skin lifting and tightening active is derived from the Corn Oak (Quercus Suber) tree which is rich in suberin. Suberin has been proven to improve skin texture by leaving it instantly smoother and softer. This active works by forming a mesh on the surface of the skin that is able to tighten and support the skin invisibly to make it appear younger and fresher.
Usage: This ingredient has been tested at 3% concentration in a gel base where it performed well. It is both water and oil soluble and is supplied as a preservative free active. It is stable to heat although is recommended to be added at temperatures below 40C.
