Solubility:
This is a tricky ingredient to solubilise. It is sparingly soluble in caprylic capryl triglyceride - more when heated (50C) and a little soluble in glycerine (requires heating to 50C) and preferably a homogeniser to help get it into solution. You can also add it to surfactant mixtures where it blends in quite easily. It is soluble in all proportions in propylene glycol and with ethanol in concentrations of 70% or higher - once the ingredient has been solubilised it can be added into your base.
