Oakmoss brings a beautifully earthy green note to a perfume but it also contains a number of potential allergens including the most well known, Atranol. This oil has been processed in a way to remove the allergens while leaving behind the classical oakmoss aroma which means that this Oakmoss can be used in a less restrictive way in all of your cosmetic products.
IFRA guidelines for regular Oakmoss recommend a maximum of 0.1% in a facial product, no more than 0.02% in a lip proudct and 0.03% in a deodorant whereas for this one you can use as much as you like although we would typically suggest no more than 0.5% in a general formula and no more than 0.1% in a lip product.
